As a voluntary, private association of lawyers, WVBA members include judges, professors, public defenders and prosecutors, plaintiffs' lawyers, and defense lawyers. We offer programs and services to enhance professional development: from lobbying the legislature on matters concerning the practice of law, to sponsoring fascinating trips to other countries, and to providing personal and family insurance programs. Our membership divisions include Real Estate Lawyers, Senior Lawyers, Young Lawyers, and associate members comprising the following sections: Law Student Section, Legal Assistant Associates, Legal Nurse Consultant Associates and Associate Members-at-Large.
