Richard E.Ford, Jr., President of The West Virginia Bar Association commented, “We are delighted to find someone with Tessa’s    broad skill set.  She brings a solid financial background, diverse professional experience, and excellent networking abilities.  She  was the search committee’s unanimous choice from a strong field of candidates.”

Search committee chairman and WVBA President-Elect Harvey Peyton said, “Tessa White is the person to lead the West Virginia  Bar Association.  Her energy, work ethic and devotion to this task will keep our Association roaring into the future.  Hold on to your  hats, things are going to be happening!!”

“I am very honored to be appointed to this position,” White said.  “I look forward to continuing the mission of the organization as we  uphold some of our long-lasting traditions, but also perpetually changing our association to fit the needs of our current and future    members.”
