| The Senior Lawyers Division (SLD) was formed
to focus on issues of interest to senior lawyers, from health care,
social security, financial planning, and housing to negotiating
of counsel agreements and pro bono opportunities. Members of the
Senior Lawyers may be asked to share their experience in the legal
profession by serving as mentors to law students and young lawyers.
This division is open to all WVBA members age 55 and over. The
membership fee to belong to this division is $15 for WVBA members.
If you are not a WVBA member, the dues are only $90.00 to join
both the WVBA and the SLD. Fully retired or practicing lawyers
with more than 50 years of practice can join for just $15, as
additional dues for regular membership are waived for this category.
Becoming a member of the SLD is a great opportunity to continue
actively working on current programs and issues of your concern,
to share similar professional experiences, and to participate
in future social and recreational activities with your friends
and colleagues.
