The Young Lawyers Division (YLD) was formed
to help the newcomers to the legal profession make their way into
the world of litigation. The YLD sponsors social mixers during the
year that let young attorneys meet established and successful attorneys
and distinguished judges who can help them learn and grow as lawyers.
As attorneys, the YLD see their profession as a calling to public
service, and in that spirit will undertake volunteer activities
in aid of their fellow man. If you are interested in joining the
young the Young Lawyers Division, it's a great bargain: FREE!
If you are in your initial year as a licensed attorney, should
you join the WVBA, your first years dues are waived! During your
second through fifth years of practice, WVBA membership is only
$80. After that , your yearly fee goes up to the standard $160.
