WV Bar Association Scholarship Recipient

The West Virginia Bar association grants a scholarship each year to one law student through West Virginia University College of Law. This year the recipient of the scholarship was Logan Hatch, a Morgantown, WV native.

When asked about what the scholarship meant to him Hatch said:

“Your support has given me the opportunity to
pursue segments of the law that would’ve
previously been off limits to me. As a result of the
scholarship, I am able to take part regularly in the
magistrate court processes both in Monongalia
and Harrison Counties. In both counties I serve
as a magistrate court mediator, helping to give
people a much quicker and efficient experience
with the court system. In addition to that, I’m an
active member of the Veteran’s Clinic here at the
College of Law. This gives me a wealth of
opportunities to extend help to some of the most needy and deserving clients in the state.”
