The West Virginia Bar Association, organized July 8, 1886, is a voluntary organization of lawyers that serves as an important resource to the legal profession with the goal of fostering a culture of collegiality, ethics, courtesy, and professionalism and enhancing the success and well-being of its members through education, networking, leadership, and professional development.
We offer programs and services to enhance professional development, including educational conferences, panel discussions, webinars, and lobbying the legislature on matters concerning the practice of law.
Note - We do not regulate the practice of law, admit lawyers to practice, or discipline lawyers for ethical violations. For these inquiries, please contact The West Virginia State Bar (a separate organization) (304) 553-7220.
