Following admission to practice in West Virginia’s state and federal courts, Ms. Chapman has focused her practice in litigation. She has extensive experience in a wide range of matters, and particularly enjoys personal injury, contract, and commercial litigation. Ms. Chapman enjoys work on behalf of plaintiffs and defendants and has a special interest in cases involving discrimination and harassment.

Ms. Chapman served on the West Virginia Board of Education, twice holding the office of president. She is a past president of the West Virginia Bar Association (2022-23) and of the West Virginia State Bar (2009-10), is a member of the National Conference of Bar Presidents, and she served on its Executive Council.

Ms. Chapman is dedicated to public service and has served on the boards of West Liberty University and the Wheeling Symphony Orchestra, among others. She serves as chair of the Viennese Winter Ball. Ms. Chapman enjoys teaching, most recently at Wheeling University in undergraduate and graduate programs in the fields of business law and law for accountants.
